I have made the face of Clarion DRZ9255 detachable.

I use the original face, just remove the plastic locking bulge . Now I use the 21pin socket and the chassis of the head unit to fix it. Taking it off and putting it on must be done carefully.There is no problem with settings or power.

The internally part of the door are double side isolated with Dynamat.The inner side, double side(inside view):

The major holes are covered with Dynamat TacMaT + second layer Dynamat Xtreme:.,.

The original Dynaudio CROSSOVER X360 is part from my old setup, I don't use them anymore.

Dynamat DynaXorb pads are mounted behind the mid bass drivers Dynaudio MW170:

Custom made kick panels from wood(MDF) covered with black leader.Midbass drivers Dynaudio MW170 use volume of the doors.

Half from original plastic parts from the doors are used to finish the shapes.

The door panel is cut with the new shape.

the new detail is covered with black leather and mounted on the door panel:

The doors panels are driled for the metal parts with seals between them,so the midbass will be isolated to use only the internal volume of the door.

There is one more podium of wood(one side with special shape to fit towards the door),which is mounted with the screws to metal part of the door.Everything is covered with Dynamat for isolation and you can't see it well .
So when I mount the door panel,I use screws to fix. two wood parts together, the result is => perfect fit.
The weight is no problem, it will be may be necessity to regulate the doors at the end.
