One of things that detracted most from the car was the condition of the wheels. A few years ago, the clearcoat peeled away, and the brake dust ate away at the bare aluminum. Finally, I just HAD to do something about it. I got some sandpaper, an orbital sander, and some silver paint. Amazingly, the paint was/is an almost perfect match. That was done without even trying.
