With the wheel's fitted i turned my attention to the inside of the car, I looked at some aftermarket steering wheel's but whilst browsing through E-bay i came across a 16v steering wheel which i managed to pick up for just ?20. The wheel was in fairly sound condition just the paint on the spokes was chipped and worn so i had it resprayed with a new coat of black paint.

The next job was to replace the broken mirrors, I was thinking of just getting some new standard ones from renault or a breakers but i decided i'd get some DTM Cup mirror's, I liked their shape and they flowed well with the cars body. They are not to everyone's taste but i think they work well, Should blend in well when they are colour coded.

With the car looking and sounding alot better i set about finding a whole 16v clio front end and interior. I hunted for months and finally found all the parts i wanted on a vavler which was being broken for spares. I managed to source a full leather interior, Clio 16v bonnet and wings, 16v Rub strips and front leather door cards for just over ?200 which is a bargain considering how rare just the bonnets are these days. I began by fitting the interior which was basically a bolt in job.
