BigNutsMoto's 1995 Nissan 240SX

My car is a 95 Nissan 240sx SE, a car that I've wanted since I was about 16 years old. At that time I had an 88 honda Prelude and I traded it in. What I got was not my dream car, an automatic S14, non SE. I mean the car was ok, but manual transmitions are where its at for me. So about two years later I finally found what I was looking for on Autotrader. A 95 Nissan 240sx SE, manual, 65,000 miles, nice interior, etc. So I bought it and was happy.

So being the naive car enthusiast I was the first thing I did was buy a set of 17" chrome Alba wheels and a Kenwood Excelon 1200 watt stereo system. Not the absolute worst way to spend my money but I wish I'd done it differently.

So now that I have decided what I want out of my car I can show you all the progress. Keep in mind this is the first car I've EVER worked on and I'm no expert, I just love my Nissan and am a true enthusiast. I've done all the work possible to the car myself, and it's a hobby that I have a true passion for. Thank you to the one's that have helped me with the car, including Eastmont Body shop for the bumper support and some helpfull tips. WingsofWar, and many others from NorthwestNissans for answers to many 240 related questions, my pop, who will be giving me a hand with his professional body work experience, and Sherwin Williams for hooking me up with a great color for my ride. Also thanks for veiwing my mess haha. J.

Just saw that you have a bodykit...for that I'd sugest 9 w/ super low offset...maybe 10s in back. Those front fenders will def need lower offset to look flush. Do it right the first time!

My rears are ok at +35 but could be a tad more flush...my fronts are sunken in, not bad though. 17X9 +35 MIGHT clear coilovers in the front, only thing I know it def won't clear are Z brakes. You could also try spacers if it doesn't clear. Search on Zilvia.net or Freshalloy.com..I'm sure you'll find the answer there.

Yeah 17x8 & 9, offsets are +25 +35 respectively but if I could do it again I would go lower like +15 +22. Right now my wheels sink in a little.
