I bought this 1993 from the original owner with 46K miles. It was in great condition with the exception of some parking lot dings/dents. I decided to totally repaint the car with the original classic red. The car was stripped of anything that could be removed so there was no tape edges on the repaint. Even the windshield was removed. I upgraded the suspension with Koni yellow sport shocks with ground control coilovers. A set of white Kosei K1 15" wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires rounded out the look and performance I was after. I left the engine stock but added a high flow cat and SS Cat Back Exhaust from Flyin Miata. The car now has 53K miles on it and it turns heads like a brand new one. (Update - I have sold this vehicle and now have an 06 Miata....red of course)

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your fantastic example of an early Miata. Isn't it great how the design stands up to the test of time. Be sure to check out my purchase that I am going to pick up on Monday. See ya!

Nice 93 MX5 I like kosei wheels and ground control adjustable coilovers. I was wondering if you liked that setup on your suspension and how far you can lower the car front and rear. Also take A look at my 90 MX5 project and my wifes 93 LE MX5 and tell me what you think. Welcome to Car domain.
