I got a deal on a 1964 lincoln continental looks like a good car to fix up. Ive also now got a deal on a rusted out 65 lincoln for a parts car. It has hubcaps and a few other parts that the first car doesnt have. I really like the light lenses on the 65 that are all chromed. Is is wrong to put them on a customized 64? I would like to turn this into a real trick car. Ive seen lots of lincolns now on the internet and have saved lots of pics of different rides. (maybe Ive got yours)I tend to like the costomized over the origional. Even though they hold their value better. Im thinkin to drop it down with some air with black on black paint. Maybe some light flames. Can visualize black leather seats with flames. Cool. Fun to dream.Anybody seen pics of similar cars I would like some links. Thanks. Real busy right now and planning to store both in a garage side by side till I can get started on the project. Really looking forward to sprucin up this old ride. Looks like im gonna keep the parts car till I find out what Im gonna need for the other.
June 4th/05 Had the car running today. Engine is real quiet, exhaust is kinda loud. Engine (Sooo Big)would only run by pouring fuel in the carberator. Maybe the fuel pump is toast. Will dig deeper next week to see what else I will find. The radio works as does the heater fan, havent tried anything else, only had a half hour to look. Very little rust. Car seems in pretty good shape for its age. Looks like I need some rear light lenses. Any ideas?

good to see some fairly local people interested in the same car as me! the air will cost you but probably not as much as if you paid some shmo at a shop to do it. I'd be my air system is at about 1000 C right now but maybe more. email me at phat_bastard1@hotmail.com to chat. Had to look up where Canal Flats. Not too far from Cowtown.
