The Story:

How ya doin everyone, I'm Joe. My dad and I are the original owners of this Mustang and I have inherited it from him as a gift of good grades and keepin up with my music. Back 18 years ago when the car was first purchased with the tints and tan vinyl top special ordered, there was only one goal: keep it stock, and that lasted longer then you might think: about 15 years! Three years ago is when it all started...

The first mods included a cold air intake and then 3.73 gears followed by a tune up including new wires and spark plugs. A little while after, the rims were purchased, putting the finishing touches on the appearance of the car - although now the Stang also has Projector Headlights. After tasting speed with the 3.73 and saving up money, the more drastic engine mods were added which you can see the list below. That is as far as I want to go for the time being... until my Supercharger in a bit :).

As for the stock sound system, although not bad for an 18 year old system, it was in definite need of improvement... so I prowled the shops with my Dad close behind and sometimes in front - enjoying helping out. The sound system in one big leap is what it is today where again you can see a list below. Yes, I am lacking a sub-woofer, but that will be added in due time.

So here it is today; original factory paint job, 61,000 miles as of this summer (55k before I brought it back out), it has NEVER seen salt, snow, or a carwash, is garage kept, and has just the very minor wear recieved as an everyday driver. We have both taken excellent care of it, and it is basically immaculate and as you will be able to tell, My Stang has come a long way in the 18 years we have had it, so I hope you enjoy lookin at it and can appreciate it as much as I do. PLEASE COMMENT!!!

3.13.06 Just stopin by to give a quick update... the lights are in and working. I think they look damn good. Just brought the stang out for the first time yesterday; yep, still a monster.. haha. ill check back soon, peace

2.20.06 I would like to start off by giving a big thank you to all my friends and all those who checked out my page for voting and giving your comments about my lights with such a quick response. I have decided to stick with the diamond sidemarkers that came with the kit because of your votes, and because I figure if im gona go flashy with the headlights, might as well go the whole 9 yards, and the diamonds still look hot - so it was a win win.
The new parts came in! A couple days ago I got the PRO 5.0 shifter and MAC (they musta switched the brand) chrome strut tower connector in the mail. I'm really excited to put in the shifter and connector, they will improve the driving conditions of the car so much, as well as the look of the engine bay. I will take pics of my progress. Thanks again!

2.15.06 OK. So my Dad and I got in one side of the headlights on the car. Havn't gotten them wired yet, as the weather stripping tore off the inside marker... these don't seem like they are worth the $330 I payed for them as they feel cheap and really just don't fit right - in fact the sticker says they were made in Taiwan (says it all?)... I'll call in for the new marker tomorrow and see what happens from there.
The kit didn't come with the white sidemarkers like pictured in the magazine, instead it came with the diamonds. I've put em on to see if they don't look too tacky, and I don't think they do, but I'm not sure if I'd like the clears better. I still have time to decide if I'm sendin em back to get the regular white sidemarkers.

2.14.06 Projector headlight set just came in today and damn does it look sexy. Gona take a few hours to install considerin I'm gona have to drill a couple of holes to allow for some new wiring, but it will be worth it.
The kit didn't come with the white sidemarkers like pictured in the magazine, instead it came with the diamonds. I'm gona put em on to see if they don't look too tacky, if they do, I'm sendin em back to get the regular white sidemarkers. Look forward for pics over the weekend hopefully!

2.9.06 Everything is ordered now! The chrome BBK strut tower brace, the pro 50 shifter, and the headlights... damn I'm Excited...

2.8.06 JUST ORDERED A BBK STRUT TOWER BRACE AND PRO 5.0 SHIFTER! YEA BOOIII. Tryed ordering a projector light kit and billit interior starter kit, but the place was closed, so till tomorrow! shit yea im excited.

11.25.05 Thanks for the help on questions on lowerin my 'Stang everyone... New question! I'm lookin for a car club to join, if anyone is in/has a group goin, hit me up please!

11.15.05 Most likely the first thing you notice when you check out my site/pics, is how high my car sits. That has been a problem with Ford's Mustangs for quite sometime. With the Mustang being a sports car, it is hard to imagine why Ford would go with such a high sitting frame/suspension. With that being said, I don't believe I can lower my car. I have been told by multiple people that lowering my ***87*** Stang will only give me problems with my alignment. I've been told that 87 is the only year that you experience these problems with, or something along those lines, as well. On the other hand, I have been told that it can be done, with certain springs and things, and it won't mess up the alignment... I'm lost at this point. So please, if you have any advice, on how I can lower my car without alignment problems, or if these accusations are false, I'd appreciate it.

11.4.05 Well, it doesn't suprise me but it seems there's haters on this site. Someone felt they had to give me a "don't like" for two categories and an "it's ok" for another... If you are goin to leave a negative comment, why not make a suggestion. If you're not makin a suggestion you are obviously a jagoff with nothin better to do then hate on other peoples cars. People like you bring this site down. Peace.

11.1.05 SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS SITE. For whatever reason, the site won't stay updated, but the only page to worry about for now is Pg. 5, so keep refreshing Pg. 5 until there are 5 pics under Chassis Ideas or refresh this page until only "SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS SITE." is bold, and you will know the page has been updated. Sorry for the inconvience... or CarDomain should be...

10.31.05 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10.30.05 Just washed the Stang for most likely the last time of the season. I will probably hold the Insurance and put the Stang away until the trees become green and all the salt and snow has been washed off the pavement once again, this week. Hopefully there is some decent weather this week so I can have one more drive with her.

10.16.05 Went to an auto-auction this afternoon and it was full of rare classic race cars and others. One 4 door dodge hemi - one of FOUR made, 2 exported, TWO in the US - bid up to $570,000, but didnt meet the owners reserve of $800,000!! It's insane for me to think that there is a classic car out there worth over DOUBLE my house!

10.15.05 Got the car back today after the catbacks bein takin off. It sounds completely different, like nothing is holding back the airflow.... kind of the point, lol. Sounds great, but it seems like I've lost some torque? Please feel free to give me the lowdown on straight pipes if you know anything about how they effect performance.

10.13.05 Turns out the rattling was coming from my catbacks - they are FRIED. But guess what folks! Straight pipes now baby... ohhh yeaaa

10.12.05 Aside from this site messing with my page, on the way to a party, I heard a rattling coming from the rear end of my car, but not just when moving - so it cant be an axle problem... hmmmmm

9.18.05 Just posted most of the new pics, yea i know some of them suck, but they might look good if they werent blurry for w/e reason they got that way. I will work more on each page when i have more time, but for now, enjoy the pics!

9.16.05 Got the radar detector hardwired to the battery and mounted up by the mirror, so it is pretty tight, no more wires baby, clean as hell. In the new pics the radar isnt on the window, I took it down for the pics.

9.5.05 Took new pics today, as well as got them back, and you wont believe how TERRIBLE THEY ARE!!!!!!!! i see a good pic through the lens, but some turn out so ugly... wish i knew why. anyways, some turned out ok, so i will put them up shortly.

8.28.05 Bought a new radar detector today which i will be havin hardwired soon. I don't have the best luck with cops, my car just might draw a little attention... you tell me X_x. anyways, it's an Escort Passport 8500 X50 w/ blue LEDs that match my headunits lights, and plus it should be nice not havin to worry about the po-po, lol. I'll get back to you soon on how well it works - peace.

7.7.05 Went to an all Ford car show this afternoon and it was FULL of Mustangs. I thought I'd died and gone to Mustang heaven! Got 2 runs on the dyno, found out I mighta been runnin too lean, so they adjusted the fuel for me.. got some impressive numbers which I will post shortly :)

7.6.05 Replaced the blown exhaust gasket as well as the bolts on the other header with new bolts that I lock-tighted, back in business with the couple hundred bucks it woulda taken to gotten it fixed in my pocket!

7.24.05 Yet another exhaust gasket has blown... hurray.

7.12.05 Took in my baby to an old friend of a friend just to see if he could think of anything that could be wrong, and guess what... he did... turns out it was the sparkplugs! My mechanic didnt read the directions putting on the TrickFlow kit, and it turns out, you need COMPLETELY different plugs to make this thing go. The new plugs are about 1/4 inch longer than the old ones... a BIG difference. So now everything is complete and it runs b-e-a-u-tifully... I am almost speachless writing this right now because I am still in awe. Now it's time to enjoy it... *sigh- ahhhh*

7.11.05 Brand new sensors have been installed everywhere... abosolutely no change... well... this is my 87 Mustang GT BASKET CASE... if anyone has an idea, please... please help because I am disgusted with this project. The last thing I could think it would be is problems with the cam... and boy do I hope thats it... but really, if you have an idea feel free to share it.

7.9.05 New fuel injectors installed, turns out BOTH exhaust gaskets were blown... mechanic must have screwed up puttin them on for both of them to have blown, anyways, still runs like crap, hopeing it's the sensors, they will be replaced tomorrow, and if that doesn't work... well, then I am FKED.

7.6.05 Just got new fuel injectors (only thing not new, hopefully will fix all the problems)

xx.xx.xx Got the Ford Performance mass air installed - doesn't stall NEARLY as much, still runs like crap.

6.10.05 SOUND SYSTEM INSTALLED ... Oh hell yea...

6.2.05+ Car running like crap... think wiring was messed up... also blew an exhaust gasket ><

6.1.05 JUST GOT THE CAR BACK w/ NEW MODS!What an AWESOME way to kick off the summer break!

Before 6.1.05 Stang is equipped with Ford Performance wires, exhaust, underpullies, 3.73 gears, rims/brakes/5 lug conversion, stock sound system, tints, and tan top... (just so you know)
