Hello,our names areJim and Lucy Newkirkik and we are members of Three River Vans of Pittsburgh. Our van is a 1976 dodge van called the Nautilus. It has a 12"angle chop top,tilt front end,gullwing side door.The rear of the van has a half gullwing door that folds down when opened.The rear tailights are out of a mass transit bus which are led and molded in by Ron Thompson. The motor is a 318 that was redone with headers that are hooked up to 3" chrome sidepipes.Interior is all custom with a horseshoe couch in red velvet,front seats and overhead to match. It has 3 sunroofs that are real stained glass.Gregg Cooper painted it this year with candies and pinstiped it.The name Nautilus was done in goldleaf and the triangle on the front hood in goldleaf also.This has been an ongoing restoration for 5 years now and will continue to be that for a while. This is the man responsable for the paint job,his name is Coop and one of the best.I will be updating soon with more.
