First Mustang Pictures February 2005
Here is what we started with. The 1967 Mustang 289 3 Speed just trailered in to town. It has the great Torq Thrust wheels, which are perfect for classic muscle cars. The body is quite bad. The interior parts are in excellent condition, which is a real bonus.
Very rusty front frame, it's a lot of work ahead of the firewall
This whole side is structurally very bad. The rust on the base of the shock towers makes this car a disaster waiting to happen
Nice rusty front inner cowl side indicative of things to come
Trunk is shot, we'll be tossing this in favour of a fiberglass Shelby type trunk.
Interior of the car is not in too bad of shape, so that is a plus
View of the front end of the 'Stang. Most of this is very rusty, and will be coming off!
The doors were actually not too bad, but the biggest problem was they were butchered with dual speaker holes cut through the door panel and door! What a mess! Can't salavage these!
Rear quarter is not too bad, the nice TT2 wheels, those are a real plus!
