Here are a few pics of the audio system in my car. Im not too into all these huge subs and blastin speakers and whatnot. I just like something that can play CD's, is convient, is clear to hear, and isnt too flashy so it doesnt get stolen.

So here is my old radio:

I know the wiring harness looks a bit messy but i was down at college and i had to organize the wires and get them out the way somehow so i used duct tape, its been workin pretty darn good so far!

Oh, and by the way, i bought this from someone off ebay for about 10 bucks shipped and everything. If you need a harness look around on ebay, it will be a lot cheaper than going to a retail store! And if you plan on using single din you will need a bracket (again around 10 dollars on ebay) and if you are looking to play your radio as well with your CD player then you will need an antenna adapter.

I also upgraded the speakers (5 1/4") with some i got off ebay. They sound a LOT better and are a huuuuuge upgrade over stock. For the price i got them for (around 30 bucks) they sound FANTASTIC!

And here they are:

I plan in the future on getting some 6x9's for the rear to replace those ones, but im content for now. I dont plan on getting any subs because im getting all the bass i ever plan on letting into my ears from my current speakers.

UPDATE: I got a ipod shuffle for christmas and since i hate changing cd's so much because of this defective ass faceplate i can plug in my ipod and listen away without having to change cd's and risk having the faceplate fall off. What i did was drill a hole in the lower dash panel and mount the wiring through that, so whenever i get in my car, i just plug in my ipod and go, no fuss, no mess.
