Has anyone not been able to see out of their headlights? Has the yellow monster taken over your headlights? I know what you're talking about. My headlights were so bad, i couldnt see the road at night. I'd have to rely on the BMW in front of me to see the road... for miles haha. But i finally got off my butt and decided to do something about it.
I got some 200 grit sandpaper (yea i know, its pretty rough) and smoothly yet stiffly went over my headlights. I could literally see the residue just powder away! Then i went to go clean it up with soap and water. Then i polished it with meguiars metal polish compound. After all that the headlights looked crystal clear! To help protect it i put a coat of wax on it just in case.
Wow... i can definately see now! And you can visually see the difference if you just look at the headlight casing! As a matter of fact, heres a picture of the driver side which i did, and the passenger side which i didnt. There is a HUGE difference!
At night now i can finally see the road!
