My $300.00 dollar junkyard motor right after I had finished installing it.

Another view of the junkyard jewel.

At this time the battery was still in the stock location. Since the EFI conversion the battery is now located in the hatchback area of the car.

Gotta love that "Red Stripe" universal fit upper radiator hose.
Actually the hose outlasted the radiator. The upper tank blew apart at the seams right outside of Barstow, Ca. when I was driving the car out to California from the 40th Anniversary Mustang show in Nashville in April of 2004.

Waiting for my new California plates after successfully getting the car smogged. Since it is modified I had to go through a California Referee Station to have the inspections and test done. Forgot to mention the all red lenses and the sequential taillight conversion...

Another shot of what got me to pass the smog test and modification inspection, $1100.00 worth of true dual exhaust. Dual Magna-Flo high performance Cats, 2.5 exhaust pipes running into 2 Flowmasters and over the axle and out. Yes, I've since changed the rear shocks (KYBs) and I've painted the gastank.

Detected, Inspected and Injected!! How the engine bay looks today.

Modified Vehicle Smog Certification Label. Sweet!!!!!!

Winning 2nd place in the Modified Catagory this summer (June 2006). In early May (2006), won "Best in Class", and at the "Restomods In Reno" Show (Memorial Day weekend), got a cool T-Shirt and snowed on! If you've noticed, some guys have six packs but I'm sporting a keg!! LOL!!

The 1982 Mustang GT hood scoop I'm installing during the body and paint work.

Jumping ahead to late May/June. We have base coat!

We now have clear!!

Another angle showing the clear coat.

Here's the goal I'm shooting for....

June 22-24 in Concord, Ca.
Made the show and being judged. Didn't place but got a lot of positive feedback on my car and will use my judging sheet as a "To Do" list of things I need to improve. It's all good!!
