06/09 I finally got around to getting my accident damaged fixed ( I was rear ended by a motorcycle on April the 7th)
thats an artists renditioning, so it may not be 100% accurate.
While it was in the body shop I had the mirrors painted:
PAINTED MIRRORS
I'm quite happy with how the mirrors look painted, and I think they all should come like that (I'm glad they don't though)
and I also had them paint and install my side mouldings.
SIDE MOULDINGS
I'm not sure how I feel about them, and I seem to get mixed reviews. They are starting to grow on me however.
06/15/2005 I painted my side markers to amber.
AMBER SIDE MARKERS
I used an acrylic stained glass paint, which had to be baked in the oven. When you get close you can see the brush strokes - which really sucks. From a distance though, I think they look much better.
I am really happy with the individuallity that the car is now taking. Once I added the rims it really started to differientate from other Echos, but now there is no mistaking it.
