It was at this point that I decided I needed some gold (with a side of machined lip) less than a week ( 05/24/2005 ), $1000 of crx parts, and a borrowed set of Michelin XGT V4s (195/55R15) later, I had my rims.

Clearly this has spiraled way out of control. I am next to positive that there will be updates shortly. Actually I am positive, because I have parts on order.

Today ( 05/31 ) I added some genuine Toyota vent visors. I am not sure how I feel about the aesthetic feel they add, but now I can drive with my windows down in the rain, which is the biggest feature they add.

They were pretty easy to install, but I did scratch up my belt mouldings a little bit.

Today ( 06/01 ) I got a free Toyota accessory Borla muffler tip that they had extra in the shop. Thankfully it was free, it looks ok - but the attaching mechanicism leaves a little to be desired. It attaches via a gear clamp (instead of a tightening screw - like I've always seen before) and I actually didn't tighten it enough the first time. It fell off and got all scratched up. Fortunately the scratches are not super noticable.

Its not as perfect as I'd like. It kind of sits at an angle compared to the road, but its definitely sharper than the stock exhaust, and the added horsepower is nice.
I guess it'll have to do untill I can afford the Borla centre exit exhaust.
