My Perrin lightweight crank pully came in this week (just in time for the show) so tonight (07/14) I threw that in.
PERRIN LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK PULLY

It has to be like 1/4 the weight of the stock one. When you lift up the OEM piece and compare it to the Perrin, it makes it feel so heavy.
Install was fairly straight foward, I did have a bit of trouble with the power steering belt, but I jammed it on.
There is definitely a noticible difference. A lot more throttle response.
For the money, it was definitely worth it. I may even see an increase in fuel mileage!
My first car show is this weekend. On July 16th, my club ( Extreme Compacts ) and I are entering the Sport Compact Nights event at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Being as how this is my first event; I wanted to make sure my car was spic and span. With the help of one of my detailing buddies, we cleaned the shit out of it (the same night I installed my pully), here is the aftermath.
The pictures hardly do it justice. Even though I wouldn't let you, you could definitely eat off the floor.
The engine bay is fully degreased and dressed, with my intake, header, strut tower bar and V-Power it is really starting to look sharp.
as you can see, no blemishes - it is definitely looking mint. I was scared to drive it home tonight because of all the fricken bugs around here now a days. I'll wait untill tomorrow afternoon to when I can drive it straight to the show.
At the last minute before the show, I got my garnish slapped on. I really like the way it finishes the car, and for less than $100, it is really a worth while investment.
TOYOTA B-PILLAR GARNISH
They are pretty friggen hard to install if you don't know what you are doing. I like to do everything myself, but I had to get a 'pro' from a vinyl place to do it.
Don't try to tackle it yourself if you're not good with stickers.
Really good.
