So it's been a real long time since I updated. I know, I know....slackin. Well, at first you might think so. Let me enlighten you.

Since the last time you check in alot has happened. I dont even remember the order, but I will try. Shortly after all the problems with the motor making uncomfortable noises and losing power I knew I had to do something. I decided on the blacktop SR. I got a good deal locally from a fellow drifter. I compiled a list of a few parts to put on when I swapped. I got it all together and finally swapped it in on Dec. 11th. We got it in @ 1:00pm and it was out fully running with no problems @ 2:30am. I took it for a little test drive and dropped the installer off at his place. Since then I have been taking it easy and planning my next series of mods. Enjoy the next few pics while I load a bowl.

Here it is as I last left you.

Now with seeing that let me fill you in. The blacktop is from a friend as mentioned. He used it for about 8 months and it is a rock solid powerplant. Run daily @ 10psi, tracked @ 14psi. It was compression checked and as close to 160 as can be across the board. When dyno'ed in his car it made 252rwhp & 255 ft/lbs. @ 14psi. Luckily he will be competing in Formula D this year and was able to get into another motor with a little more pep. I however think his SR has all the potential I need. It still has under 50K and had yet to be modded while in his car. I, as mentioned earlier, had alot of parts I wanted to get installed all at once. Here are a few more pics.

Urethane Motor mounts by Syko Performance. Also got a Nismo mount for the tranny.

Running a FMIC leaves no room for aux. fogs...time to hook up the projector fogs. They look nice, dont you think?
