So I know it's been a while since I updated this page. In this time I have run into a few problems again. Not like I am suprised...I mean the car is 12 almost 13 years old. The main problem is this.

A. Nissans dash parts/components quality control sucks ass.
2. I can't find anybody who can tell me why my gas guage wont work.

Now let me start off by saying I love my Nissan, and in no way am I hating on Nissan. I do however think they should have used better quality parts. The main parts I am referring to is the dash components and a few keys parts under the dash. Here is what is wrong:

1. My gas guage doesn't work
2. My dash lights wont turn on.
C. The piece that tells my clutch to disengage is broken.
4. The piece that disengages the brake lights is broken.

To sum it all up. Nissan did a shitty job of constructing the dash and all it's components. I have changed the fuel pump/filter assembly and had no luck with the gas guage. I unhooked and disassembled the dash, but was unable to find anything...not even a burnt out bulb. So that is the problem with the first two. As far as my clutch and brake light problem, I am trying to figure out a good solution. Here is the problem with them. There is a hole in the clutch arm, that when pushed all the way in....it tells the car the clutch is down, and lets you start the car. The following pics are pretty much narrated, they all tell what is what in my findings.

This pic shows a few of the remaining plastic pieces from under the car. These should have been metal plugs or something instead of plastic. It is so brittle I can snap any of it apart. GREAT THINKING NISSAN!!!

This hole normally has a little piece of cheap ass plastic in it. That stupid piece broke and was laying on my floor. I didn't notice it at first and was in shock as to why my damn car just stopped working. After sitting inside for a day...unable to go anywhere, a friend noticed the piece on the floor and we found the problem. I figured it out and now I can start it again and drive it.

The brakes were a slightly bigger problem. I was driving for about an hour then got home, got out of the car, and saw bright red lights. I got to checking and notice another little piece of plastic on the floor now. Evidently all 240's have a little piece of cheap plastic in the brake pedal arm...and it broke. This was causing my brake lights to stay on constantly.

Once again for the shoddy craftsmanship! Yeah, Go Nissan...make it so we can break it!

I am trying to figure out a way to fix both problems without having to buy 2 cheap plastic pieces from Nissan so they can turn around and break all over again.

Just when I thought I wasn't gonna catch a break on my car..WHAMM! There it is...it hit me so fast I was like uh...umm...hmm...ok...sounds good. Let me go a little farther back. So I am standing in CD warehouse waiting for a friend, and a guy comes in and ask's "Hey, does anyone in here own that Nissan?" ...uh-oh. So I am like "yeah", and step towards him..."I own it...why?" Then he ask's if I would be interested in selling it...at first I think NO. Then he tells me he has an S14 Kouki w/SR20DET and he is looking to trade it for a coupe like mine. So I am a little taken back by this, but after talking to him for a little while, I am thinking I might just do it. So the short part...trade his SR20T + cash for my PS13. I hope it all in good condition and working. I will probably test drive it tomarrow and see what I think. Amen.

My car as of right now....clean and freshly waxed. Dont mind the break dust clouding up my wheels....they come clean!

I'll be back tomorrow with another update...maybe a new Nissan to give a home to. Wish me luck!
