b4's and now

The goods....
short throw shift kit
vw oem exhaust, new...
sunroof
only 60k on the clutch...
working a/c...almost non-existent
new timing belt...water pump...thermostat...radiator hoses...etc
doesn't leak or burn any oil..
new ignition coil...new distributor, etc

It has 188k on it....which for an '86 isn't bad at all..

The previous owner has owned it since 1994, and then only one owner b4 that.....Im the third owner :)

What is needed?
Because of the excellent mechanical shape of this car, this will be 95 percent body work, to get this thing decent again..

Because of the excellent mechanical shape of this car, this will be mostly astetics and accessories...

Over the next few weeks, I will be replacing most of the body...and some paint work on the car...it will not have rot holes!...

Then, hopefully, a set of matching wheels/tires.....( I want the teardrops w/ the red accents on them)

The interior is quite good for it's age....with only a single split in the driver's seat...some spider-web cracking on the dash....and will require a new headliner in the future....(torn)
