(5-18-06) Hey it been a while. since the 240 i have had a few cars. i dont have any pics though. with the money from the accident i bought a 89 honda civic dx 4dr. it was a fun beater. the clutch went after the first month i had it. i replaced it my self with a stage 2 mugen clutch. or i was told it was mugen.
During the winter i bought 2 new front tires. i didnt get back ones because i was a little short on money. so in the snow with bald rear tires i learned to drift with a fwd car. it was alot of fun. in january i bought a 84 camaro in hopes of fixing it up and getting back to rwd drifting. i drove it into the ground. i had to junk it after the old 305 V8 blew a gasket at 187,xxx miles. bought it for 300 junked it and got 110.that sucked.
With still having the civic i drove that and did some "redneck"mods to it.it was fast after i got done with it. intake, catless 2 1/4 inch exhaust,lsd,new headers,and down pipe made it pretty fast for a car that light. it looked like shit but i beat cars that you would never expect me to. i had that util about a month ago.
My parents got sick of all the beaters i had so they loaned me the money to buy my 95 jeep wrangler(pics soon). i had to give the guy my civic and $5,400 to get it though. its got a 2 inch lift, 31 inch tires, a kick ass sound system thanx to me and my friends, and a 2.5l i4. its nice but i still miss my 240. so if anyone is willing to part out with one for cheap let me know
(7-23-05) the insurence people are giving me 1600 for my 240. its great but i will still miss my car. what really sux ass is when i went to get things from my car it was totally ripped through. my 180 tail lights were gone, my interior neon was gone, and even my registration and insurence papers were gone. the auto body shop got the tail lights back from the towing company. the owners son went through my car. that little bitch. i dont care to much about the neon because i payed 10 bucks for it. but anyway i just dont think its right that my car was raded through. my camera was dead at the time so i dont have any pics yet. if its still at the auto body shop ill get pics but i cant promise anything.
(6-24-05) i am no longer driving my 240 because i smashed it up beyond repair. it was not my fault. a flatbed tow truck cut in front of me and i had no time to stop. this really sucks because i loved that car even though it was a P.O.S. my passenger side was all banged up. it still runs but is not safe to drive. when the other tow truck came i started to take some of my things. then the driver started bitchin at me and says i cant take any thing untill my bilis payed. yeah i am in some pain to, my back,chest,and right hand are killin me. i will have pics up soon of my baby all beat to shit. i am told that i will get blue book value for my car which is around $1,200 dollors. i just hope i get enough money to buy anothor 240 or money towards anothor one. i will keep everyone up-dated on these events. this bites ass
can ne one tell me the price range for an sr20det, or some good places to look?
