Jasons 1991 Chrysler Dynasty
This is my 1991 Chrysler Dynasty. This replaces my 1994 Pontiac Asuna which fell apart. I got this car in June 2005, It needed an alternator and belt. I paid $250 for the car. The car had 211,000 km's on it and I've got it upto 232,300 as of August 2006.

Dynasty from the rear! Notice the peeling paint.

Notice the glove box, or lack thereof. But you can pop the trunk from the inside - thats an improvement over the asuna.

Yeah, I just checked. You're right, the seat won't move. I must have just pried it out with a screwdriver. When I replaced my rear speakers, I just thought of how to remove the deck, I didn't think of removing the seat. I don't remember exactly how I did it first, but if you removed the deck once, you can reinstall it in a way it can be easily removed in the future.

Damn, really? I have the same year and model, seats should be the same. It was kinda tricky, but it is possible. Way easier than removing the seat.

You must have different seats. There is no way that I can get the screw out (yes ONE screw) I just went out and tried it on the car. These cars are also WICKED in snow. I went and looked for streets that werent plowed. I've driven through 12" of snow and snow banks even higher than that. Works like a charm.

Oh, right. The rear deck is held in place by a few screws behind the top of the seat. I think there are two or three, there may be four. These can be removed by pushing the padding on the top of the seatback down to expose the screws. After that, it can be lifted out. I took mine out to put in new speakers, I didn't put the screws back. It stays in place fine, the seatback pinches it in place... been three years, no problems.
