5/19/05i just got it two days ago n love da hell out of it....still working on getting all the fluids changed and cleaning it up a lil bit... then i will start for performance mods...it has a jdm 97 4G63 N/T but i am saving for turbo... so if anyone has good ideas for first mods sign my guest book...pics will be up as soon as i upload them...for now i have to have some ragging pics.....if anyone knows or has 95-99 gst/gsx stock rims i will buy them...but the five spoke chrome ones...so if you have leave a message in my guestbook or email me at jdm4g63tuner@yahoo.com
5/28/05 update I went to the junkyard to see if i could get lucky and find a turbo from a 90-94 but i went to my cousins shop and i got so lucky that i asked if he happened to have any mitsu turbos laying around--BY THE WAY HE IS AN AMERICAN CAR MECHANIC--and i got lucky and he had a 2g turbo and told me that i could take it cuz he was going to trash it. so i did get it free. he said it worked just the guy wanted a bigger turbo. so when i get everything else i need for the turbo i am going to have it rebuilt. if anyone has the stock turbo parts off a 1g or 2g turbo i would be willing to pay to get them since i am going with the stock setup for now.
6/4/05 update i got a free side mount intercooler from one of these guys i met on a forum and i asked if he had thee intercooler(stock of course) he said that he did i had offered him 30 dollars for it and he gave it to me cuz he said it was just sitting around and had no use. so now i currently have a t25 turbo and a side mount intercooler...hopefully i get a new manifold soon cuz God knows the one i have isnt going to work. keep coming will be having new updates....
6/17/05today was a big payday...i sold my dads boat and got 400 dollars out of it and i got 400 dollars from my paycheck...the part that sucks is dat my sychro has gone bad coming out of 2nd so i gotta get it fixed...also ordered my stage 1 clutch by clutchmasters should be here monday...and have to take my car to the shop that day with the clutch to get the tranny fixed...450 just the tranny and another 250 for the clutch...not complainin but if the tranny didnt go out i could be rebuilding my turbo...also got a stock turbo manfold and turbo oil pan, and the intercooler piping for 90 dollars...come back will be having more updates.....
6/24/05i went to pick up my car today b/c the guy had yet to start on it so i said forget it it i will just buy a rebuilt tranny and install that bitch myself....so tonight i am going to get one for 385 shipped on ebay....let u kno wen i get it and intall it...also i returned the clutch because if i am going to take down the tranny i might as well do it right hte first time instead of having to drop it again later on wen i want more power....update later...
7/2/05as of today i have everything needed for the turbo except for the following...injectors fuel pump bov, bov elbow and o2 housing w/ external dump...of course still no exhaust...waiting to find a downpipe for my model...i found a HKS turbo exhaust for 375 and free shipping...so the project continues.....but after that all i need is the safc 2 so i can tune the car and boost guage for the obvious reason and the egt guage...ill prolly throw in a electronic boost controller later...lookin at about another 500 dollars to finish the project....
7/21/05now i bought the bov finally with the elbow off of ebay for 50 bucks...tonight i am going to try and order my 550cc lucas injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and place a bid and try to win the damn stock 02 housing...then all i have left is to get my rebuilt tranny from ups if they decide to bring it and then when i get it i will buy a f1 racing stage 3 clutch off of ebay...after all that is done i am going to order my apex safc-2 and my guages...i have decided that i am going to get my downpipe custom made at miami muffler and take off my cat...but w/e for now...update later....
7/21/05damn after i saved all that shit UPS kncked on my door and my tranny came...so i will prolly just order my clutch and injectors...
9/06/05well as of today i have everything except the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, safc2, the guages(boost, and egt), my downpipe and exhaust....
