The engine passed away after I drove it for a few months so I replaced it with a Goodwrench 350 C.I.D. crate engine, which is rated at about 260 HP from GM. It works alright for now. I put Hooker Comp headers on it with a Holley 600 vacuum secondary carb. The exhaust runs out through 2 1/2" true dual exhaust with Flowmaster knockoffs. The rearend is a 8.5" posi Turbo Buick rear with 3.42 gears. I have installed a MSD 6AL along with a MSD billet distributor. I put a Performer RPM on and did a cam change while I had the old intake off. I put in a Lunati Voodoo hydraulic flat tappet.
Future plans:
I have a new TH350 and convertor waiting to go in and M/T Drag Radials to be mounted.
I have a set of heads that I got from SGT Barks on here. He did some port work on them with larger valves (2.02/1.6), and they'll bump up the compression somewhere around a point and a half. I have a set of full roller rockers to go along with those.
I've also started collecting big block Chevy parts to put together a 496 or 505.
