A little background for anyone who wants to know. I am a MECP certified audio installer and was an installer at Circuit City before they went bankrupt. Also i do all the work to my car, so there are not many shops involved with my car other than machine work or welding. I have taken it to shops before, but i had some bad experiences and began doing everything myself. If you doubt anything on my page, i have evidence to back it all up from videos and pictures to personal witnesses.

(2/15)Over the last month of so i have been acquiring a lot of parts to put on all at once. so far i have a vis carbon fiber hood, 98-01 oem front bumper, 98-01 headlights, digital hid's, oem amber corner lights, brand new black floor mats, brand new black carpet, new 98-01 steering wheel, golden eagle spark plug wire cover, golden eagle fuse box cover, 50ft2 of rattle kill, 12ft2 of dynamat xtreme, and i also got some oem tail light gaskets. when i put most of this on, i am going to try and fix my leak in the car. still getting water in my passenger floorboard and trunk when it rains.

(11/15)Old motor and turbo kit is out, going to redo everything; starting over. So for now, i just have a good n/a setup in the car. Got my exhaust made today and installed the itr cams and nitrous kit. ill try to get some pics of everything shortly. In the next few months i plan to source a 98-01 front end and get some sir fenders with the side markers.

(10/10)Well i spun a main bearing, so the car is down. just a small update. Redid the entire car's audio system; new amps, subs, custom enclosure, rear seat delete, and 800 dollars worth of kicker wiring. Decided on the 8515 subs instead of the squares; purchased directly from MTX just like all my equipment was.

(9/9)Well since its not cooperating for the go fast part; im going to focus on the interior and music side of things. tomorrow im ordering 100' of kicker 12gauge speaker wire and a 1/0awg kicker hyper flex wiring kit. the car is getting completely re-wired with speaker wire going into the doors. also going to add a lot more dynamat to the doors and trunk. in the next couple months, im hoping to order a rear seat delete and new audio equipment. im getting an mtx thunder elite 1501d and 2 mtx thunder square 8512s. Then im going to get another optima yellow top to go in the trunk and build a custom box for the subs. Then new carpet is going in. i have a couple water leaks i need to try and fix before i get all this in; i really dont know where its leaking from. also got a couple piezo sirens that will go in the air vents of the car.

(8/28)having a really crappy time with my car. vtec is not working and the clutch will not disengage above 4000rpms. i swapped the clutch disc, but that didnt help. it was working fine and one day just decided to quit.

(8/1)been a really long time since an update. well the last motor blew up due to having an 89mm crank with 87mm rods. oh well. its rebuilt again and has about 2500 miles on it. i updated a lot of pictures and what not. since last update the car has gotten new lower balljoints and tie rods. also got the windows tinted 13% all around.

(12/23)Long overdue update. motor is now completely built and ready for a lot more power. Also got a new turbo manifold, turbo, injectors, catch can setup, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, oil lines, and a few other misc goodies. ill have new pics up soon.

(5/27)well my alternator went out. good thing i have a volt gauge, if not i would have got stuck out somewhere. i saw when the alternator quit and i headed straight home. ordered a new densonippon high output amp. puts out more power than stock. should be good.

(1/3)today i ordered a NRG oil catch can and Greddy Water Temperature Sensor adapter. i can hook my water temperature gauge up on that now. much easier and simple.

(12/28)Received some skunk2 dress up items for christmas and a lot of craftsman tools. A need a new axle, so i will get that with the money i got tomorrow. I should get a lot of stuff put in tomorrow and maybe i will be running.

(12/19)Got my head unit in. Probably wont get it installed until after christmas or new years. This is a busy season! The plan is to finish wiring up my gauges (bought more wire today), hard wire the turbo timer, install my new alpine speakers, and the new head unit and put my interior back in. looks a ton better with it in. I just need to come up with a place to mount the turbo timer. Any suggestions put in guestbook.

(12/8)well i found the leak, it was my blox oil filter adapter. my oil temperature sensor was coming loose and oil was leaking out on hard acceleration. but its fixed now hopefully. stabilizer is scheduled to deliver monday. pretty disappointed in shipping time.

(12/4)NRG Stabilizer still hasnt come in and i have a nasty oil leak to fix. Not sure where its coming from.

(10/21)vtec solenoid is replaced and i also ordered some new energy suspension shifter bushings. next is a transmission flush with some acura mtf. and i still definitely need a brake hose. no one has them in stock and i have called around about getting one, no one can get them for weeks.

(10/19)i replaced my vtec gaskets and filter and managed to crack my vtec solenoid in the process. so i need to buy a new one. its not leaking bad right now, so im not real worried about it.

(10/6)ok, well, this week i hope to fix my new brake line. they are on backorder at every store in town... replace my vtec solenoid filter and seals (where my oil leak is coming from). replace my thermostat. i may even get a new radiator in a few weeks. deciding on which one. i want to run a full radiator, but i dont think it will fit with the turbo manifold i want to run.

(8/22)DAMNIT FUCKING SON OF A BITCH! i just cant get a break cant i?!!? my cv axle boot tore and all my grease got out and it started clunking on the way home yesterday. well this morning on my way to school, my axle BROKE. so i got broke down on hte side of the road. is it not possible to have my car decent for more than 4 days? I also have to buy a new tire. The shop i had the car at, i guess they had some fun with the car while it was in, cuz i dont have any tread left on my front left tire (one that gets power). So i need a new axle and tire. this is some shit...... FUCK.

(8/15)today is like the 3rd date the shop has given me for my car to be done, and like all the other times, it isnt. so i pretty much lost my temper on the phone with the guy, and now he is overnighting the rest of the parts to have it done tomorrow (supposedly). if anyone wants to know, its Premier Imports up in Macon. They seem to do decent work, but turn around time is just completely ridiculous. people cant go weeks and months at a time without their car... i dont think the shop realizes that. either they are just lazy, which i doubt, there are fifty million cars up there, or just constantly bite off more than they can chew and everyone has to wait.

(8/9)shop is still waiting on my last gear set, so its not ready yet. in the mean time i got my tach installed, all my new oil gauges (with help of the blox oil filter adapter), nrg torque damper, and my skunk2 strut bar. also got new green 6000k headlight bulbs and fixed an oil leak. also put new wheel studs on.

(7/29)having the shop rebuild the tranny, and i bought a skunk2 front strut bar. i got it for a dollar! ha. so tight. i need a new tire. just one, i have the lame open differential, so i wore out just one tire. once the car is back from the shop, im going to install that tach; everything is already wired. After all that, im gonna start turbo planning; new radiator, thermostat, hoses, fuel injectors, etc... just getting ready for the turbo. like laying a foundation for a house.

(7/20)well im basicallly out of luck. shop is saying that previously 90 weight gear oil was put in my transmission and thats why it messed up and its not their fault. i need a new tranny. i need the money for it. so if anyone has transmission for sale, let me know.

(7/16)So the shop definitely did something wrong. It goes back in tomorrow. It will be TOWED in the morning. its unable to drive right now. last night i was out just cruising and it got stuck in gear. Like the transmission locked up. im pretty sick of messing with this tranny, so thats what the poll is for. what to get...

(7/9)B&M fuel stuff is done and working. big big problem though. my transmission is fucked! when i shift to fourth, it goes in fine, but when i let out the clutch it grinds and pops out. fifth goes in fine and drives, but when i let off the gas it pops out of gear. reverse is just not there, at all. so the shop did something wrong, and i can almost promise you on monday when i go up there they will deny any responsibility. so who knows whats next. guess ill be saving for either a gsr tranny with quaife lsd or type r tranny. vote it up!

(7/5)Now my car is out, everything installed and working properly. i am hoping to install my new B&M fuel pressure regulator and B&M fuel pressure gauge with new OEM fuel filter friday morning. Maybe that afternoon i will get the tach wired up in time to go to the track. who knows. if not there is always next week! :) been playing with my cam gears as of late and i think i finally got them dialed in (not perfect, i am not using a dyno. but damn close to right).

(6/27)Now that spikes car is out. ( www.cardomain.com/ride/2242290 ), mine is in. its getting new tranny housing, transmission mounts, transmission rear seal, lower ball joints, and a camber kit installed. i should have it by the 29th. I also have a slight oil leak that im hoping they can fix. its gonna run me right around $550. Also got all my parts in, the tach, gauges, etc... my fuel stuff will get instaleld when the car is out. my stewart warner gauges are installed and functioning, but tach is not.

(6/13)This was a good day... Test pipe on, ordered Autometer A-Pillar Pod and Stewart Warner black face gauges (trans temp and voltmeter). Also ordered that Ignited 4-1 Tachometer (tach,oil pressure,oil temp, water temp) i have been drooling over for a year. Also got an Ignited Push Button Starter (green). Keep you posted. Lots of new pictures this weekend.

(5/23)Ordered a rear wiper delete. Hopefully that will give me a more sporty look. Plus i just dont like the rear wiper, its annoying. Also got some Motegi Lug nuts... just some little stuff lately...

(5/18)MSD distributor, ignition control, and a new blaster coil have been installed. $430... got some graduation money, so im looking into a type r tranny too, or at least a LSD for the GSR transmission. Its amazing how much of a difference this Ignition setup makes. My car idles better, runs smoother at all rpms and seems to even have a quicker throttle response. The main thing i noticed is that it starts so much quicker though. Its instantaneous... recommended to those with big mods in plan. Dont think it would help much on a basically stock car. And i will be supercharging over the summer. Jackson Racing supercharger and a B20 pulley for more boost. Look out!

(4/26) Ok, my ignitor was burnt out, thats why the car wouldnt start. So i have to buy a new distributor. Instead of going stock, im buying the MSD Distributor (PN8488). It's a three piece setup and will cost me $380 (cheapest ive found so far). Also found out i owe $725 for a ticket i got in January. Money sucks nowadays. Ill keep you posted.

(4/12) Bought MSD external blaster coil (part#8203) and MSD distributor cap and rotor (part#82933). Can't seem to get it to work though. Any suggestions cuz the car wont start. Parts were brand new. Oh also got a Jackson Racing thermostat (160 degree)

(4/1) Today i installed my AZRace cam seal, new tube seals, grommets, valve cover gasket, and my powder coated red GSR valve cover. And got new tires on the back. Very busy day... check out the engine page for new pictures, they will be on there by the 3rd. I also painted my intake and a few other things the same red as my valve cover. Oh also got a skunk2 rear upper strut bar and sold the DC Sports one. Will have pics of that too. And the back is COMPLETELY gutted now, no panels anymore. Handles much better though.

(2/7) Motor Mounts on, but still havent fixed the bellhousing. New mounts vibrate like a bitch, but well worth it in my opinion. Still gotta put the cam seal and new hoses on.

(2/3) Got all parts in to get the car running well and also got AZRace cam seal. And got new coolant hoses.

(1/26) Got AZRace mounts and when i put the car up to put them in, i noticed that i have a cracked bellhousing and that my left lower engine mount is wore out too. So ordering those and i also have to buy a new camseal (leaking worse than it was) and new coolant hoses (also leaking). So mid February and everything should be fixed. Working student here...cant afford much...parts take time.

(1/14) Been a while since i updated, hadnt done anything until yesterday when i broke a motor mount. So im ordering new ones this weekend. Eiter Hasport or AzRace. I was about to buy the MSD ignition control system before this happened. Oh i also bought a radar/laser scrambler. This thing is awesome, it picks up KA band 5.5 miles away. It also detects VG2 and VG3 so i know when cops are around, as well as posted up at speed traps. Definitely worth every penny (250).

(10/30)I bought a new GSR valve cover, machine cut for my cam gears; so that is cool. i also dont like the orange(on the car when i bought it) so im painting everything that is orange; to a red to match the valve cover and AEM cam gears. I think it will flow a lot better since i got the type r shift boot and skunk2 shifter which all have red detail.

(10/25)I'm not sure if its possible for anyone to hate cops more than i do. I'm just sick and tired of getting pulled over for absolutely nothing. I got pulled over yesterday, for no reason at all. The cop just wanted to look around and see if he could find a fault. The only thing he came up with is my license is out of state, so he gave me a ticket for it and nothing else. I hate cops. I might sell my car, just so i dont have to deal with them anymore. i never had any problems before i bought this one. It's my third car by the way.

(9/24)After a long long long month, im back! I went with the Exedy Stage 2 Clutch and Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel. I went stage 2 instead of 3 because of daily drivability. I am excited about this, it should help WHP about 10 because of the new flywheel.

(8/18)Bad News strikes again. My clutch went out. So now i will be out of commission for at least a week. What bad timing. I was about to buy new tires too. Well on the bright side, A Clutch Masters Stage 3 and Fidanza Flywheel will be in place in the next two weeks.

(8/5)Well today the local shop that i was having put on my brake upgrade wrecked my car. Apparently they took it for a "test drive" and forgot to put lug nuts on the wheels and wrecked it. Of course they will pay for any damage that needs to be done, which from looking at it, just seemed to be new fenders, but im not sure. I will have to wait for an estimate from a collision shop.
