This is my 1985 SAAB 900 Turbo 16v.
********NEW:::::::NEW:::::::NEW**********
I finally found some classic VDO gauges for my SAABie! I found them on ebay and got my friend to bid on the for me. There was a bit of a bidding war going on, I just about lost them!
My new badges came in as well. I really only got these because of the "5 speed" badge.

Above Left & Right: My SAAB Ronal Silverspoke Sport Mags. These rims were made avaliable with the 1969-1984 99 & 1978-1987 900.
I just recently purchased this SAAB which is my second. SAABs have been in my family for longer than I can remember. We've had 4 classic 900's: 900 3dr, 900 T 3dr, 900 4dr, & 900 T 16.
Plan:
I'll be sending it out for body work this fall where the (small amount) of rust and dents will be taken out while I'm in Europe. Most of the mechanical will be done over the winter.
Mechanical:
I'm changing the axles, boots, CV joints, rad, re-building the transmission & turbo, and all the other small things that you can imagine need to changed on a 20 year old car. I plan on using only SAAB performance parts with the exception of the odd Bosch part.

Until I sat in this 2004 SAAB 9-3 2.3T I hadn't realized how much GM influence had worked it's way into the new SAABs; sad.
