UPGRADES CAUTION (This isn't your Grandpa's Taurus)

Engine upgrades:
First upgrade you must do is weld your cams - Welded and tuned by Nor-Cal Duo, in Placerville, CA
K&N cone filter - (5hp gain) You really hear the intake butterflies open up at 3400 rpm with this modification.
FPS X-CAL chip - (15hp gain) Firms up the shifting, eliminates the rev limiter, raises the rpm shift points to 7000 rpm, adjusts timing.
YAMAHA valve cover decal.

EXHAUST:
Flowmaster Delta Flow 50's - (15hp gain) Lets the V-8 growl out and the car begins to rumble.

TIRES:
Bridgestone (225 X 16 X 55) pole position S-03's - tight grip at the track, good in wet weather.
Stock chrome 16" rims

BRAKES
Power Slot Cryogen, vented rotors - front,
Carbotech Bobcat pads- front
Rear stock ceramic pads

TRANSMISSION:
B&M aux. trans. cooler - These transmission can boil over the fluid in 100 degree weather, a must for road course running, warm climates or towing.

EXTERIOR:
Pilot driving lights
GE Silver Star headlights - brightens up the night sky.
SHO front window decal
NASCAR type Taurus front spoiler with decal - move over Tony Stewart
Tinted

Recent purchase; '97 Black/Saddle - stock

I have a question for you and any other SHO owners out there. My car is destroyed, and I'm looking for a replacement. It's a toss up between a 96-99 Taurus SHO and a 01-03 Grand Prix GTP. On paper they are pretty much equal. Which would you recommend and why?

Looks hella nice! its about time some v8 SHO's get out on the track, none show up around here on the weekends. mainly gen1 and gen2's but its still fun. but yeah your SHO's engine performace is killer! That front spoiler really sets an aggressive look on your taurus and that decal is killer. keep up the good work and check out my SHO somtime and lemme know what you think. -Ryan *BTW: i rated you back up yo 4 stars on everything but some fags are rating everybody down. but its not really about the rating when you know you've gotta a killer car like yours. :p
