NismoD22's 2001 Nissan Frontier Hi! Thanks for visiting my site. This is my Sand Dune'01 Nissan Frontier kingcab Desert Runner SE. I got it last July and I love it. I had a '97 Ford Ranger single cab pickup and well, it was an OK truck, I was fast noticing it's limitations, especially space......

NismoD22's 2001 Nissan Frontier So I began looking at trucks at my dealership where I worked, at the time I really didn't care for Nissans, 'till I drove a '03 blue Crew Cab and let's just say the truck spoke for itself and then this one came in as a trade in and I was smitten at first sight.

Mine is a V6 5 speed SE Deluxe kingcab, so it came with power locks/ windows/ mirrors, keyless entry, 6 disc in dash CD player (actually a Rockford Fosgate made radio)with steering wheel mounted controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, subwoofer, tilt/ cruise, 16 inch off road wheels, limited slip diffrential, step bars, plus my favorite touch- Skyline GTR styled gauges.

NismoD22's 2001 Nissan Frontier Here is the engine, the VG33E. It's a 3.3L OHC V6 that makes 170 hp and 200 ibs of torque. Not really a lot of power, but not a slug either, plus the 5 speed helps. Better yet, Nissan's VG series engines are bullet proof... my '88 Maxima's VG30E engine proves it!

NismoD22's 2001 Nissan Frontier Currently at the moment, the truck is stock, save for an XM satellite radio Roady 2 reciever, Bridgestone Dueler AT's, Sylvania headlight bulbs, Nismo shift knob and Nismo plate frame. Coming in soon will be a Nismo R-Tune intake and an exhaust. Future plans would be an aftermarket supercharger with intercooler, Nismo suspension and Nismo wheels. Yeah, I want to keep most of the components Nissan if I can help it.
