This is my 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT. It is "rio red" with the saddle leather interior. The only performance mod is a Blue Oval Corral H pipe (no cats). The last time I took her to the track, she did the 1/8 mile in 9.3 seconds three times in a row (yuck!). She just had her Tranny rebuilt. It was a rough ride, and ended up being a lot worse than thought. It feels like a new car now that the transmission has been rebuilt. I would like to put some 410 gears in the rear and am looking first into a MGW short throw shifter. The car sounds awesome and runs great! Sign my guestbook and let me know what you think.
Which should I do first? A short throw shifter, or lowering springs? Vote on my poll and let me know!

I like the SVT u got!! but im recently getting 3.73s for mine but i have 4.10's if u want to look in to buying them just let me know but u have a nice car!

Nice Cobra! check outmine i just installed a MGW shifter..and 4.10 gears...best mods u can do!! go for it

nice car! very clean, i would say that if you are driving your car hard and plan to continue to do so then get the shifter or you will end up rebuilding the tranny again. let me know when you update it for sure! check out my 96 and let me know what you think.
