OK, This is what has been completed as of 1 June 05. I converted the car to the 87-93 body style, parts coverted include; front bumper, headlight assembly, doors, ground effects, rear hatch, and rear bumper. I also changed the door panels, and the front seats. The job took me 2 days to complete and the hardest part was the hatch becuase you need at least 2 people to hold it and one to put the bolts in place, then you have to adjust it, so its pretty aggrevating. Other that the hatch and the ground effects its not that bad, getting the metal strip that holds the ground effects off the parts car is a pain. Anyway, heres the pics of the process, I have some more to take as soon as weather permits, I put a few new pieces in and got the car primed, its going to be blackor sonic blue. Ok, now the car is primed, I put in the cobra grill insert and the custom cowl that I got from www.abcexclusive.com I have painted all of the door jambs and under the hood black, all I need to get is the cobra rear bumper and its ready for paint, so when that happens then page 3 will be posted.
OK, new updates as of 3 July 05 include 93 cobra rear bumper, and 87-93 quarter windows, and a saleen rear spoiler. I also changed the plugs, wires, distributer cap and fuel filter. It helped it out a lot but a damn vaccum line keeps coming loose and causing the engine to die, I think I fixed it but I'll just have to wait and see. Anyway, I'm debating a saleen rear spoiler so paints on hold for a minute, should be painted in like 2 weeks. I got smoked headlights with clear corners and carbon fiber alteza tail lights sitting in boxes in the back seat but I'm not putting them on the car untill after paint. Anyway, let me know what you think.
