This is my 04' Saturn Ion Redline. The upgrade people seem to like most so far is my plate... Lil Jon has been my nickname forever and I wanted a vanity plate so I figured why the hell not. Watching people's reactions in my rear view mirror is probably the best part. I've had people take pictures of my plate with thier phones.
Ya shes beutiful. With an aluminum head and block, Eaton M62 Supercharger, piston cooling oil jets, and sodium nitrate filled valves, this "Saturn" is one badass mofo.
Lowering the RL is prob one of the best upgrades as far as handling and appearance. I've also removed the horrible orange Type S(chool bus)markers on the front end and painted them black. The rear end was missing something so I also bought the Redline spoiler.
I have many future plans which include... torque braces, stage 2 clutch, K&N Typhoon intake, header, 3 inch pipes from the header back, high flow cat exhaust, performance calipers, rotors and shoes. Last but not least SFPH 2.80 SC Pulley, adding 6 pounds of boost. From 12-18. I'm estimating at least a 70 hp gain from these mods. After the stage 2, intake and torque braces its back up to New England dragway... hopefully on a DRY day.
