Well thats all for now Im gonna try n get some exterior car shots, I really havent paying much attention to the car, its mainly the engine!! My dad might be sellin this in awhile we life in South Florida if ne1 wants to shoot some offers....peace out.
Well, here it is....1986 Camaro IROC-Z Z28. Me and my dad bought it awhile ago and just started working on it. Its not done yet but we started with the engine upgrades and engine compartment dress-up. So far its got many upgrades, including a .040 bored over 350 (aside from the stock 302). On the dyno It will get at least 471 hp. After the 3 1/2 in exauhst and port, polished, and relieved heads...it should reach 500hp. Enjoy!

Heres the front, the ground effects are getting painted gold (same as the engine bay) soon.

Old engine as it sits now, Im using this engine for my next s10

A left view of the compartment

Center veiw of the black cross-member..lookit that shine!

Right view of the compartment

The left wheel well

Right wheel well and master cylander.

The brake booster and blower fan primed and ready for paint.
Now for the internals..

Heres a nice piece...steel crank polished and ready to install

Closeup of the crank...what a beauty!
Now the heads....this is the trick for horsepower

Here we got a port, polished, and relieved head by my dad, i would show you stock but I dont have a picture...but what a differance!

A closeup of the head, this diameter will match the summit headers a little better and allow better flow.

Heres a set of new springs with dampeners.

Now the pistons...we ordered these from Summit..there hypertech forged ailicone-aluminum pistons stamped by myself! the skirts are way smaller as you can see and the rings are set a little bit farther apart to prevent the piston from tweaking.

A little better view of the piston with the stock rods we polished up.

Heres the head of the piston, sized .040 over like i promised.

Heres the full set I just got done stamping them and they ready.

Heres the clutch we ordered from Summit...11 inch instead of stock 10 inch.

Inside of the pressure plate, the surface is way fatter than stock.

Outside of pressure plate...

Heres where we started to separate the black and gold at the steering box

Heres the other side where its separated

The battery bay with a new sheet of steel welded over the rust, gj pops came out great.

Heres the hood scoop, came with the car, looks great when its on that is

Heres some accessories we bought, air cleaner for the carb and some chrome dress-up stuff.
Heres an expensive but VERY IMPORTANT piece of equipment...

144 cu in B&M chrome blower/supercharger

Thats right.....

The cam made to be used with the blower

The 5.7 overhauled bored block with a Hamburg baffle pan....primed and ready for paint.

Better view of the bored block..so clean
Thats it more pics will be here soon the interior will be redone and the exhaust will be redone. Stay tuned for my 94 s10 v8 project.
