Yup, the my SC (and all of them) are 3.8L V6's, and the blue one has the 4.6L V8. They never (unfortunately) made a supercharged V8 Thunderbird. Only 3 engines were available in the MN12 (89-97) Thunderbirds.. the 3.8L V8 N/A, 4.6L V8 N/A, & 3.8L V6 SC... (and the 5.0L V8 in the 90-93.. the 89 ONLY came with the 3.8L V6 (NA & SC), no V8 because ford 'thought' a V8 couldnt be fit into the chassis. The 4.6 got the composite intake in 96+, and the SC got a better flowing blower in 94+
