3 years after being completely taken apart this is how she looks. Don't really know how to describe the style but I'd say vintage German look.Lots of small things and details still need to be adressed before she'll be seen on the road or drag strip but we're getting there.

Testing the engine for the first time after restoring the Bug and putting a new cam belt on water pomp on it.

The horn grills will now provide extra cooling for the front mounted radiator.

The carbon fiber side scoops arrived today (they will provide air to the intercooler)

With the adjusters, the front end isn't looking like a 4x4 anymore.

Added an extra piece to the rollcage for extra strength.

New air filter location to keep everything hidden under the bonnet . Front needs to be lowered a lot now that I can't use dropped spindels with the new brake calipers.

fg wider fenders are on, and new lights are in

Hey buddy Today I called the guys at KEP but I was not able getting an aluminum pan for my SUBARU engine as they have just a shortened version based on the original stell pan . I have seen yours of aluminm and it makes me wonder where ya have bought that...any hints would be great! Thanks Yversen

Greetings from Brazil, I am into a process of building a similar car here. Same bi turbo Subaru engine but the car will be a brazilian made VW BRASILIA. Roomer than the bug and I will be using a 091 aluminum made gear box with special ratios from Weddle. ASAP I will drop some shots here. NICE car and kudos for your great job
