My 1989 325i was 100% stock when I picked it up Sept. 6th 2006. Since then I've upgraded pretty much everything on the car including doing a M50 engine swap in November 2006.

The original M20B25 was replaced with a M50B25 non-VANOS engine from a 92 E36 325i. I spent about 7-8 months researching and collecting the pieces I would need to do the engine swap. Once I had everything I needed we had the swap completed and drivable in about 16 hours. I haven't had the new engine dynoed yet but it should be over 200 HP at the crank and run mid 14's in the 1/4.

The car has leather seats in good condition. The drivers seat is a MOMO Start fixed back racing seat, the passenger seat is a M-tech sport seat and the rear seat has the folding center arm rests and factory head rests all in leather. The original owner of this car ordered almost every option, 13 button OBC, factory storage tray for the trunk with road hazard triangle, 8 speaker premium sound and rear view mirror with map lights. I rewired the front side marker lights to flash with the turn signals. I installed a tool kit out of a 1994 525i so it can hold my factory hazard triangle and have the proper spark plug tool for the M50. A 6000K Xenon HID kit was installed in Feb. '07 which has made a huge improvement in night driving.  I've installed Hella Euro "smiley" lights with working city lights.

*July '09 update*

The car now has working R12 A/C.  The swap is 100% CARB/BAR legal as of May '09.

My custom 3"cat-back with Borla XR-1 muffler built by Muffler Tech in Sacramento (12/06) This has since been replaced with a dual 2" cat back which has gotten me more low end torque with no loss of top end power.

Hello Mr, Alex. I have a 1990 325is, and Swap 1999 E36 M3 Engine. I saw you Modified E36 fuel pump, and I am thinking to change, but I want to make sure if it's fit to E30 or not. Do you just swap or have to Modified E36 fuel pump? Please give me a advice. Thank you.
