Okay, now for my list of goodies.

So far I have put in NGK wires, Bosch 4s, Ractiv Tornado Airfilter, 2.5" piping from the cat back, and a Ravin Muffler

I will be building a custom shaker hood scoop. Also, I have a mandrel bent intake off of Mr. Gone from Maxima.org. I will be cleaning it up and painting it here in a few weeks.

Well I got around to doing up the intake. I was going to smooth out the welds, and paint Maxima.org on the intake. But I decided I wanted a little more rustic look.

Here I spray painted on some black high temp paint as a base coat. I'm hoping this will help against the ambient temperature of the engine bay. I sprayed on 2 light coats, then one medium one. Took about an hour to do all 3 and dry.

While I was waiting for the coats to dry, I worked on the MAF portion. I bought the intake from Mr. Gone on the Maxima forums. So all I received was the tube itself. I had to go down to Napa and by some 3" hose, and 2 clamps. I removed the MAF from the old intake, and had to remove the spacer ring as well.

Then I installed the hose onto the MAF, and cut it down to size.

After the last coat of the high temp spray... I sprayed on 2 medium coats of metallic blue. It was one of those direct body spray paints, so I wasn't worried about the heat affecting it.

(the wife got upset I accidently got a little paint on the camera... so she got me back by taking a bad photo)

And here it is installed. I haven't tested on the road yet to see if there's better throttle response. It sounds just as load as the stock pipe.

I have videos of the exhaust and intake. They can be found HERE Mine are the Kcidmil, intake 009, & Exhaust 2

I have also been working with Wiking from Maxima.org, on a possible throttle body upgrade. We're still tinkering around with numbers and such right now. I have so many other projects I'm not sure if I'll ever get to finish this one.

Well here is an updated picture for you all. I'm ready to pull the engine and tranny and have everything disconnected.

Well the engine is out, thanks to help from my good friends. I've already begun tearing everything down. I'll try to take pictrues along the way.

hey, thanks for the advice. i've been thinking about doing that once i get some more cash..i just had to put new fuel lines in the car b/c they rusted out lol. you might want to check it them in your car soon too..that plastic cover that the maxima came with sorta stinks expecially when salt and sand get stuck behind it.
