elcome to my web page dedicated to our 1960 Chevy Impala. Though not completely perfect, it is a are very clean daily driver which drives and rides like new. Everything in the car works except the radio. It has a few pieces of trim that have dings which will need to be replaced, and a little rust repair around the top of the rear wheel wells which will need to be redone at some point, but the floor pans and truck are like new which is very unusual. We found this car in southern Illinois in late 2004 and had it shipped to eastern North Carolina where my father lives. Now the car is at our house in Chesapeake Virginia. I'm planning a complete frame off restoration to begin Summer 08 after tax season. Car will change from white to red with white top and trunk lid. Should look really nice once it is done and of course I'll place updated pics up detailing the entire process! Thanks for stopping by.
Page 1 - June 06 Pics of us taking the car to Chesapeake for the summer, and the rest of page 1 were taken of the car shortly after it was delivered in 2004.
Page 2 - The first few pics were taken Feb 2006. The rest of page 2 are the most recent pics of the car taken March 2007. I put the original 14" wheels and wide white walls back on the car as it was meant to look.
