Well, It was the saddest day in my life on June 6th, 2007. The vehicle I spent 5 years of my life on, customizing, and making an extension of myself, was reduced to a mangled mass, that is barely recognizable. I have learned a LOT over these years and it will continue to help me throughout my life.
A word of advice for everyone who sees this. CHECK YOUR BLIND SPOT EVERYTIME you want to change lanes. Use your turn signal as well, this is a sign to everyone your vehicle is changing its path.
I did not check my blindspot before changing lanes, and there was a dumptruck in the lane I was moving into. My right rear caught the front bumper of the dumptruck and it sent me into a spin. I went full-front into a gaurdrail, and continued spinning 3 more times against the gaurdrail before finally coming to a stop. I am very lucky to be alive, much less be able to get out of the car and walk away from the accident. I was wearing my seatbelt (of course) and got a bruised shoulder, but it saved me from being tossed about or out of my car.
The truck driver was very nice and rather upset since he has 2 children my age and was extremely concerned for my safety, he stopped but was not going to come back to my car for fear that I had been killed. The only thing that saved my life was there was an onramp lane next to the dumptruck so when I slid I went around the truck and avoided him hitting me in the side.
So brace your selves here are the pics.

Please learn from my stupid mistakes, make sure you wear a seatbelt, use your signals, and CHECK YOU BLINDSPOT!!!
