This is my 1995 Caprice Classic 9c1. Ex-Maryland State car,. New balanced and blueprinted LT-4 motor @ 228,000 Miles. 1996 Corvette GS block with all machine work including .030 overbore and clearanced for stroke, Eagle forged 383 crank, 6" Eagle SIR rods for now, Total Seal racing piston rings, TRW/Speed-pro Powerforged flat-top pistons relieved to reduce compression (its at 11.0-1 with the 6" rods and the given deck height,un-relieved flat-tops in my motor would yield 11.5-1 to 11.8-1, and the valves would probably smack the pistons and die) Comp Cams xfi 280hr13 cam (XFI467; 579/571 lift, 230/238 dur. 113lsa) ported LT-4 Heads with Isky 1.6 rr, springs and guideplates, no a.i.r., no egr, no cats, Stealth Brake-bolt, Hooker shorty/mid-length headers with dual 3" exhaust with dynomax 12" bullets.(and an h-pipe that i have yet to take a pic of) Built 4l60e with 3000 stall(The Blue Bow-tie was put on late last year)

I need to get a newer pic of this on a lift, for an exhaust shop custom job w/crush bends they did an alright job, i have an h-pipe that was added after this pic was taken in 2006! (it's still EXTREMELY loud, even with the h-pipe it makes small children cry, animals flee for their lives, and is still a cop magnet. i need to put REAL mufflers on it before it hits the road again)

DJalley's 1995 Chevrolet Caprice i didn't even have 1 power seat in my 92 9c1, this one has both drivers and passenger, and cloth back seat! (i know for a fact my 92 was a k-9 unit, due to the fur all over behind the back seat and if you looked at the fender in just the right light, you could clearly read"K-9 UNIT, and on the back doors below the window it said "CAUTION, DOG WILL BITE"!)

Beware the HP turbo kit i had listed here before, it turns out that it aint that great of a kit for the price, and the customer service/wait period is ridiculous. Id like to have a juiced 572 for the next step, but if i had it the way i wanted it, it would pretty much end the street-ability of the car!

It's been awhile since I had to tangle with it, since my current lt4 intake dont have the egr valve. I think I undid the injectors, used the fuel line tool to disconnect the fuel lines, and routed the harness under the lines. Its still a tight fit on mine because the #1 & 2 injector plug is pulled toward the firewall even now with the lt4 intake, there's also bolt on the back of the pass. side head holding the trans. dipstick and wire harness that may, if loosened/repositioned, give a littel bit more slack. Hope that helps! The rest of the harness is squished tightly in between the hold down tabs, and the intake bottom.
