Welcome to my page. My name is Vin and this is my 2003 Hyundai Accent GL. There are quite a few mods done to my car, and while they might not all be big or expensive changes, they all help to make my car unique.

I know your all wondering what size rims Im rollin on. 13's baby. Thats a set of 333 Split 5 Pacer wheels wrapped in Hankook high mileage performance tires. For anyone who lives in NY you know how bad the roads are with dips bumps and potholes, which is the reason I lost all my lug caps on all 4 wheels. Every week Id realize I lost 1 cap...fast foward 4 weeks...BAM Im cap-less.

As you can see I removed all the emblems from the back of my car. This can easily be done by heating up the glue on the back of the emblems with a blow dryer. Or if its a sunny day, all you need to do it let it sit in the sun till the metal is hot. Then with a piece of fishing line, slowly slide it behind the emblem with a sawing motion. Once the whole thing is removed, there will probably be a glue residue left on the car that car be removed with Blue Coral bug and tar remover and quick wax. (this will require some elbow grease, the glue sticks pretty well...who would have thought)

Heres my cheap plug for the car stereo shop that installed my alarm, deck, and subs.

This is my front grill which I made myslef for about $5. For those who are interested, and enjoy "do it yourself mods"...I went to Home Depot and bought "gutter guard" which is a metal mesh that lines your gutter so leaves dont get in. I simply cut it to size and fastened it in the 4 corners with little strips of metal wires. (like whats inside a pipe cleaner...which can be purchased at any crafts store) Then becuase the mesh had a rough edge I went to Pep Boys and bought crome automotive wheel well molding. Its a piece of plastic crome that has 3M tape on one side, usually used to decorate wheel wells or the edge of the car door. Instead I used it to block the rough edge. Its not perfect, but like I said it only cost about $5 which is a hell of a lot cheaper than a $80 custom grill. If you look close I also used the crome strip to line the spot where fog lights would go, yet they were not included in my car. It adds a little accent to the front...no pun intended.

As you can see, I installed red windshield washer nozzle lights. Of which Ive been pulled over 3 times for them, so now instead of having them wired to my parking lights like they were, now I have them on a switch. Also, my headlights are Sylvania SilverStars which is the closest I can come to HIDs without the $300 upgrade.
