This is an SPL project that is being worked on by myself and my friends over at The Audio Garage. It is a 1997 Hyundai Accent hatchback. Yes, it is purple, but not for long...

Check back for constant updates as I'll cover the build up of the car and testing!

Equipment being used:

1- 18" RE Audio MT
2- Hifonics Gen. XX Colossus amplifiers
4- Kinetik Audio HC2400 'Monsters'

Shots of the car:

Now the build:

The wall will be constructed out of 1" MDF. Each side of the wall will be 2" thick, and the baffle will be 4-6" thick.

Here we are test fitting the woofer in the baffle to make sure the cutout is correct

Here is the first baffle- it's 4" thick. We will be testing with a 5" and a 6" baffle as well

Here's a shot of the 2 walls in progress. The smaller of the 2 is going in my car, the bigger is going in a friends ride. Mine is 13 ft^3, his is a little over 20 ft^3

Here's the larger enclosure, it was built using 2" Trupan

That is all for now...check back for updates!!
