I'll use this page to post the most updated pictures of the car. Feel free to browse the other pages to see more pictures of the project as its progressed.

6 January 2006 - Well, its been a while since I've updated this page, but let me tell you, things have changed. I finished the remainder of the body work in August and set the car out for paint in September. The car was gone for about 3 weeks while it got its new color. Well, I guess you can't really call it "new" color because I had the painter pull the paint code off the build sheet and use the original GM color, but what was new was the base/clear job. The car has 3 coats of base and 4 coats of clear. I also got the underhood and door jambs painted too. I have also paitned the turn signal lights with blackout paint and put the blackouts on the taillights. Heres some pictures of the remainder of the body work and the finished product. Also, I pulled the doors off and rebuilt the fully rebuilt the hinges since we all know that these Camaros have doors that weight a metric ton. Anyway, now there is no sag in the hinges, the doors close perfectly, and nothing will mess up the new paint. Let me know what you think.

10 July 2005 - NEW WHEELS AND TIRES FINALLY MADE IT IN!!!! Well, there you have it folks, SK2 has gotten new shoes. Yep, she is now sporting Cragar SS 15" by 8" wheels with B.F. Goodrich rubber all around, 225/60R15 up front and 275/60R15 out back. Makes for a nice stance and a whole lot of rubber in the rear, the car hooks up a lot better now than it did before with bald tires thats for sure. Also, you can't see it in the pictures but the differential was just rebuilt yesterday with a brand new set of 3.73 gears and all new bearings and seals, topped of with Royal Purple gear lube. Next weekend is the transmission rebuild and finally replacing the remaining fluids with Royal Purple synthetic fluids. A little bit of dyno tuning and its off to the track again to see if we can't get that 14.2 a little lower...

16 May 2005 - Some more pictures of the car. A friend of mine let me borrow the wheels and tires off of his Camaro since his tags expired and he isn't renewing them right away. So out with the 20 year old bent and beaten rims and tires and on with the 4th gen salad shooters and bald rear tires (I don't know why, but it just seems like Camaros always seem to have bald rear tires...) Anyway, with the "new" wheels and tires on, we ran the car at Bithlo Motorsport Park (or something like that). We didn't get in until LATE and only had time to do one run. On this maiden voyage down the track, Satan's Kitten managed to run a 14.28 ET with a .93 RT and spinning the tires through first and second gear before the bald rears got traction and the car took off. So all in all, thats not a bad time AT ALL for the first ever pass. I figure with new tires and a little practice on the ET, she'll be able to run low 13's or 12's no problem.

9 May 2005 - My car in primer, its been a long hard road, but she's almost done. This is the first time in as long as I've owned the car that I've seen it in one color, all-be-it primer. Either way, I like the way the car is turning out, I think its going to look amazing when its all done. I do have to say that by far my favorite thing about the car is how clean the nose looks with the emblem shaved off...
