San Diego Mopars
This was our Mopar Club started back in the early 80'ds

I got allot of inspiration, knowledge and parts from these guys. Great times we had cruzin, racing, car showing.
Every year we'd go to LA for the big shows up there.
Pick out the years and the models if you can.
HORSE POWER ON TAP
1988-1989
I've been poking around with the 383 for 5 years, it was time for a change.
In 1988 inspired by Muscle Car Review, I attended their Stock Drags which was in Bakersfield that year.
The old muscle car fights were on, and I hoped one day to kick some tail wearing my Dodge colors.
I bought a 440 hp-2 and 906 heads; the rebuild was stock. Stock forged pistons, rods, crank. Balanced and blue printed.
The only item I had aftermarket was a Schneider race cam, made in San Diego.
I told the people what I wanted it to do and they came up with a grind for me.

My 440 block came from a 69 Coronet R/T, I traded a Hemi intake manifold for it. 906 heads came from the jy.
