Well it only took me a year to finally get the battery moved to the trunk and then hook up the ram air. I went with the Taylor relocate kit and on/off switch. I got the switch location idea from my buddy Rodney w/ the 66 coupe seen in other pic's and it works great. You still retain the orginal bezel for the ps back up light. It's a perfect spot. I also replaced the factory 60 amp alternator w/ a late model 3G 130 amp unit I got off a 99 Mustang. Made the ram air install easier as the 3g unit has a built in voltage regulator so I just ditched the old unit that was mounted on the rad support.

I had to trim about 1 1/2" off the height of the box so it would
clear in the trunk of my 2+2. If you have a coupe it's not a probably. I also got a plate from a buddy to use as a mounting
point on undercarriage for the box to secure to. All in all I have happy w/ the results. I tried to run the cable as best I
could along the pinch weld area. I secured the 1 awg cable which goes from the switch to the positive side of the starter solenoid w/ the rubber insulated clips that came w/ the kit, I used zip ties to secure the 4 awg cable that runs from the switch to the alternator against the 1 awg line.

Then the fun part began. I used a 4" drill bit and made two
holes one on each side of the rad support. I spent about $20 at Home Depot for the inlet vents, duct tubing and hose clamps. I got the air box for $60 used from a fordmuscle.com member then had my buddy spray it to color match my car. Hopefully it will function as good as it looks.

I installed some Bolt-On subframe connectors and then took car to location shop to have some reinforcing welds put on them. Hopefully this will stiffen the chassis as I plan to put more power to it in years to come..
