Alrighty, finally I get not lazy enough to make a car domain page. This car has come a LONG way since I bought it in November.

Background on the car:

My previous car was a 1996 Toyota Supra twin turbo (you can find pictures of it via my old screen name of supraturbo1996). However due to rising insurance and heavy car payments, I was unable to keep the MKIV. Such a high price car is not an easy thing for young people my age without a GOOD job. My job proved not to be good enough :-\

Anyways I ended up selling the TT to a fellow supra owner for 13.5K plus his 90 turbo supra.

At the time of purchase it was mildly modded, with the following mods:

Blitz Nur-Spec Exhaust
HKS knock-off downpipe
Greddy Blacktop Type-S BOV
K&N Intake
Suspension Techniques Sway bars
Suspension Techniques Springs
Tokico Blue struts (No more TEMS)
MKIV TT wheels
Greddy Profec B Electronic Boost Controller
Apexi turbo timer
Apexi strut tower bar
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

As you can see, most of the modifications were in preparation for an upgrade in the serious turbocharger system, with a few little things left.

After two weeks of driving the car, it blew the turbo seals and made a nice BIG smoke storm. Upon pulling the head, the cylinder walls were deemed too scored to push some serious power through. With not much time on the clock (or so I thought), I decided a fresh engine would be a good idea anyway.

With the help of some local friends (Dave, Ian, Andrew, Clint, Nick, and Tyler) I got the car running again, with a tad bit more mods. For a full mod list, see page 6!

Now after a completely fresh engine and ten thousand dollars later, here is the finished product of FIVE months and some hard work, blood, sweat and tears.

CONTINUE ON TO PAGE TWO!
