The Car : 2004 Mazda 6
Here it is. My very own Mazda 6. I had 5 cars before this, but this one is special, because it is the first one that I bought with my own money. Thanks mom and dad for the other five.
I immediately fell in love with the car when I first saw it at the 2004 NYC Auto show. I thought it was stylish and suitable for Boston traffic. There were some other cars caught my attention that day as well. Like this Aston Martin DB9 convertible was pretty nice too,
but I could think of 170,000 reasons not to get it.
Once the car is decided, it's time to hit the dealership. After 3 hours of negotiation at the Quirk Mazda, I got the car for $6,000 off the sticker price and paid $14,500 + tax & fees to drive the car off the lot.
There are some pictures of the car
Oh yeah, that's right. I got the Official Red Sox plate. It cost $50 more, but it was a no brainer once they told me the money goes to cancer research.
