As I noted on the previous page, I bought this car with around 244,000 miles on it, for $2000, back in August of 2000. I bought this car because my parents felt I needed something newer and more reliable for me to drive back and forth from college (a 40 mile trip back and forth) – and my mom didn't want me driving her 1988 Reliant K (which was an awesome car, had some great times with it in high school). Since this friend of my parents was selling this car, and they knew he had taken very good care of it, they pushed me into buying it, which I kind of found exciting at the time, as it was 'my' first car.

This car has been many places with me – tons of trips throughout Ohio, to Indiana, and even Georgia, plus that is not counting the tons of midnight drives through back and country roads with my friends. I have only had one accident in this car (not counting the hit and run, more on page 11), and it was not a major accident. Although, at some point during the previous owner's time, the car was severely rear-ended, completely destroying the back end of the car, but the owner had it repaired (which means everything from the c-pillars back are not part of the original car) – also the transmission died around that time as well, so he paid to have a new one put in.

I've treated this car well, and it has treated me well in return, with me only having to recently start replacing parts. This LeSabre was manufactured in October 1994, and some of the parts that are still stock, are original.

Anyway, I can remember my first mod to the car – it was the front 5x9 speakers. Not long after I bought the car, I noticed a nasty crackling from the rear speakers. Upon inspection, I had found out that the factory speakers were starting to crack. Well, that would not do with me having to drive 80 miles a day, with poor sounding tunes. So, I knew someone that had wrecked their vehicle, and their 5x9's did not fit the new vehicle, so I bought them off him, with the rear 6x9's following not long after.

Well, anyway, time for some pictures. Below are a few shots of when the car was almost completely stock (these pictures were taken during my last year at school in Georgia):

Front, back, and side shots:

A close up of the Buick symbol on the grill, the hood ornament, and the letters "B U I C K" on the hood on the left, plus the factory 15 inch polished aluminum star/sunflower rim on the right:

I found some old pictures I had taken of the interior of my car, back when I was still down in Georgia. These pictures show the interior as almost completely stock. The picture on the left is before I added a steering wheel cover. The picture on the right is showing my original broken visor, the old LeSabre headliner, the stock, plain mirror, and the untinted windows:

The picture on the left is of the pedals without the covers, and the center floor, before I added any of the equipment I have there now. The picture on the right shows the old driver's side running board that was broken (I got the car with it like that, and it has long since been replaced):

The next two are of lighted objects. The pic on the left is of my instrument cluster before the installation of the blue LED's, and the pic on the right is a shot of the floor light, with an incandescent bulb (instead of the current white LED's):

A shot of the very stock, VERY dirty engine (not that it is any cleaner now) that puts out 170 hp and 225 ft/lbs of torque:

Also, something that I think is cool that I found in the junk yard one day – a Buick Ultra key chain:

Now, to provide more complete information about this particular Buick LeSabre, I wrote up a list of the factory options, replaced equipment, added equipment, and a maintenance list. It's cool man. I think im scrapping that idea anyway, cuz now I've got more important projects to deal with, and I need to start saving up for college. I am probably getting a 3800 series III L67 in the fall for college. It'll be all bored out and suped up to drop in when I graduate. Don't get excited though cuz that won't be for at least 5 years or so. lol

Hey man! Just stoppin by with another question for you. I remember reading about your attempts at trying to swap your custom guage cluster with a limited cluster. Do you know why it didnt work? I want to swap in a digital cluster. I saw one that fits perfectly but I dont want to spend $800 for it not to work lol Thanks!
