8/12/06: Well... Bought a set of airbags and what not for pretty cheap and i'm 'bout to send this 20 off to get fixed. Instead of painting it right now i'm needing something to drive so i'm gonna pull my engine out swap it for another 350 and build mine while i have it out. I'm gonna primer it or whatever so that i'll only have to wet sand and what not. Here is the wheel that is damaged though.

7/25/06: ha that post down there... well same happend again. We got it running again but not for long the cluster gear in the Muncie went south. So its parked for now. I ran outta money so I just started doing whatever and keeping them both running... Gas is insane these days. I found someone to paint my truck and I am in the process of just doing a frame off restore. It doesn't need it as I will show you with some pics. I took some with my camera phone but will soon get some detailed ones pretty soon. Gonna go with House of Kolors Passion Pearl Purple with Black Chevelle Stripes and what not. I bought some bags off of a friend of mine (he is helping me paint my truck) and we are planning on putting them on pretty soon. I bought a 96 GMC ExCab with 20's blah blah for 2500 bucks and stripping it of it's 20's and putting on mine. SO! Pretty soon I will honestly be finished. Now that i'm outta school I have time to work on my truck and am going to my local college for Auto Tech. I plan on putting roughly 2500 in my motor for some heads, pistons, cam and dual 4 barrel with all of that I should be pushing 450 easy. Not to safe on the mileage though lol. I am probably going to sell the 96 for the money for the engine and the paint.. well I got the paint coming somehow dunno yet. So stay tuned and you guys will be in for one bad ass 72'!
9/14/05: Wow.. I kinda stopped updating whenever I really started working on that stupid 67'... Well we finshed that in about mid July, and it runs great! We haven't gotten all of the kinks worked out yet so we haven't taken it down to the track. I raced one of my buddies 98 GT Mustang and stomped his ass. So it runs decently to say the least. We had to get traction bars after that because as I was coming home some idiot in an import kept messing with me and I punched it in second hit third and the drive shaft fell out. Well what actually happend it broke the back u-joints and spun out in the rear end so we had to get a rear end and still haven't bought a drive shaft. Its warped all to hell.
Now on to the 72. Since the Katrina crisis gas is freaking outrageous so I have had to scrape together all of my money for gas, and an anniversery gift for my girl. So I haven't been able to progress on that very far, but right now we are going to get a little Cavalier and drive that around so I can start sanding down everything on my truck. Still debating on the colors too so you guys need to hit me up on the color wheel. I still think Orange Black top.
5/17/05: My dad went and bought calipers today to put on the truck, but I can't work on it all week because I work. Bloody Hell I am tired of working. Well tomorrow night is a preview of Star Wars at the local cinema. Well not really a preview... it's the whole movie. The showing starts at 12, so I guess it's alright... Yeah there are already some wierd dumbass people that are sitting out there. I'm adding a new page on this for paint and body.. I will put all my idea's for that kinda stuff there.
5/15/05: Went to the drags last night, and found out that when it rains the day before and a little in the morning that it is pointless to go. The track really wasn't even wet, but it sure seemed like it. I couldn't get any traction at all! I heated up my tires so freaking hard core and I still spun past the 60 ft and got like a 2.8 60 ft. I stopped spinning around 100 ft then got a 13.2 1000 ft. My best in my 72' is a 12.6, and I know it is capable of at least 12.3.
5/13/05: I keep forgetting to update on the progress! Well I worked on the 67 all day yesterday, and found out that the shim that goes up against the crank shaft doesn't fit because it's a newer model engine! I also found out that the Muncie that I have came out in 63-67 Vette's and a few other cars along the way. Also the guy that had the 67' forgot? to put the old bolts back through the calipers so we don't have those. I found out that those will just cost 10 bucks at the local O'Reilly's though. Anyway yesterday was very stop and go. I wish it would be running by Saturday to see how well it does, but it won't get it running. I have to work all next week also. I am going to have someone work for me a few of those days. Yesterday I saw the debut of the new Xbox 360!!! I saw a picture of it like about 2 weeks ago, and thought it was just a bootlegged picture, but nope that was what it looked like. I got up and stashed 40 bucks back, and am going to do that every two weeks that I get paid. I WANT ONE!
5/10/05: Well I painted the motor last night, and it looks really good. I will take some pictures of it later on.
5/9/05 later in the day: Started cleaning the motor up. It's ready for paint, and will be primered and what-not tonight.
5/9/05: Today I don't have to work. So as soon as I get home today I will either work on my 72 or the 67. I have to re-gap my spark plugs back to 35 because for some odd reason my dad and I wanted to set them to 40. It is running fine, but I welded some 12 glasspacks to some header flanges so it is louder and I noticed it kinda cutting out. The 67 I still have to... well hell I don't know. I just have to get it running, and then I will be very happy.
Detail on vehicles:
I recently bought two old C-10 Chevy's, and am in the process of restoring them both. One is a near perfect 72 (perfect cab... shady bed) and a 67 that needs work.
72 = daily driver/nice vehicle
67 = Street Race Truck
