I decided right from the start that I didn't like the previous owner's choice of wheels...and wasn't I right! Not only does she now look heaps better...but she handles like a different car!
I've gone from 14x5 Front and 15x7 Rear Dragway Indys (Bitches of things to change!) with Michelin 165s (Front) and Falken Ziex 215/60s (Rear) to 14x6 ROH 12-Slotters with 195/65 Pirelli P6000 Rubber all round.
The 12-Slotters match the car so much better and as I said they feel so much better on the road! Plan on GT caps for them at some stage but for the time being will just stick with the original caps.
I did the white lettering by hand...but unfortunately due to my poor workmanship I was forced to scrub them...sad because they looked great!...well, until the first time I drove on them! :-( I wanted BF Goodrich Radials with the white lettering already on...or whitewalls...but they were a bit outside my price range.
I was initially going to replace the Dragways (Left) with Bathurst Globes (Right) but I found the 12-Slotters were both a cheaper option...and they look better!
