As far as drivetrain goes, it's a 4.6 liter SOHC V8 with some mods that I did to it. I swapped my stock cams and intake in favor of PI units. That gained me a few ponies. Added Steeda underdrive pulleys to free up some more horses. Ported the plenum and added 70 mm throttle body and I had to have the lame intake and throttle body spacers as well. Even though they add nothing, they sure look cool. lol Car also has Marauder airbox and 80mm MAF, PI zip tube wrapped with heat shield material, 180 degree t-stat, colder plugs and tuned by Lonnie from Blue Oval Chips.
Things that are waiting installations include 3.55 gears with trac lock, higher stall torque converter and flex plate, extended tailshaft housing and MMX driveshaft. Those will all go in sometime this summer.
Older pic of the engine compartment. I decided to ditch the engine cover for better cooling.
Mercury Marauder airbox and 2004 Police Interceptor zip tube. You can also see blue, police silicone hoses.
Tried to snap a shot of Steeda underdrives and Goodyear Gatorback belt.
Installing a bigger front stabilizer bar from 2001 Police Interceptor. This is the biggest one you can get from factory which is 29.5 mm.
Original on the right, new one on the left.
New bar installed into place. I also replaced the bushings with new Moog urethane ones which were later replaced with Energy greasable bushings.
Air-Lift kit installation. Don't mind the rust, I was doing it in spring while the car hasn't been driven whole winter.
PI cam swap. The engine compartment is pretty dirty, hasn't been washed since fall of last year.
Latest pic of the engine.
