Page One

Welcome to my page!

So the car is basically finished in a roadworthy fashion. I've posted the most recent pictures of it fitted with the new 17s, as well as what it looked like prior to fitting the new wheels. The rest of this profile details the build up of the car to get it to the roadworthy stage. I didn't take many photos in the last few months, but it wasn't all too exciting! Enjoy!

This is the latest side on pic - Alfa 156 wheels, reasonable condition.

The facts

Work still to be done include as at 22 April 2006;

--> Swap over the gearbox and clutch
--> Replace head gasket seals and recondition heads - Currently the valve stem seals are screwed so the car uses more oil than it should, therefore the exhaust smells
--> Car is needing some new shocks, especially with low pro tyres
--> Currently have intermittent ignition problems. Suspect something to do with distro or leads. Hard to pick though
--> Car seems to running a bit rich. Plan to install an Air/Fuel ratio gauge to adjust AFM. Following that I'll probably install a new induction kit and swap AFM with larger flow one from a BMW.

That's all I can think of at the moment, nothing serious that needs immediate attention.

Other mods which I want to start off on include;
-> Sure it's technically not a mod, but be one of the few Alfa owners who have a working ARC! (Pretty good at the moment
-> I'd love to have some custom pods made for my doors so I can fit in some 6-1/2" splits with custom etching on the panels, but I can live at the moment
