I have done quite a few things to the car so far, everything short of a body kit and major engine overhaul/replacement.

Improvements I've made to the outside:
color changing wipers, color changing quad pinstripe, silver flame pinstripe, chrome covered side bumpers, blue panther decal on gas cover, upper front windshield strip w/ tribal design and color shifting Om symbol, neon glow plate surrounds, HID fog lights, three inch chrome tailpipe tip, dark tinted windows . . . and as soon as the weather clears up I'll paint the picture I'm using as my background on my hood using a three step color changing paint kit.

Inside:
large beverage and food cooler/warmer, chrome pedal covers w/ tribal design, blue flame steering wheel and seat covers, heat/massage seat pad/cover, Black Widow alarm, Viper remote start and keyless entry with starter kill, Cobra radar/laser detector, Garmin Deluxe V GPS, Kenwood indash single CD with Sirius Satellite radio, JVC 12 disc CD changer, four Rockford Fosgate speakers, R.F. digital power cap, R.F. 1500 watt amp, two R.F. 12 inch HE2 dual voice coil subs w/box, Dynomat throughout.

It's a work in progress, but pretty damn good so far, if I do say so myself.

Updates:
I'm starting to remove some of the carpet/plastic moldings that make noise, or don't have enough bolts/screws left to hold them tightly. So far, I've taken out three plastic parts from the main interior, one from the rear, and the two carpet parts from the trunk.

Now I just need to figure out how to tighten my trunk so it doesn't move so much when my music's thumping.

Finally got around to painting the Chinese enigma design. It's not perfect - I still have to touch it up, clean it, and put a clear coat on - but it was a good learning experience.

My next paint project will be the original version of a tattoo I have on my lower back.

I also want to find a way to integrate one if not all of my gaming systems (XBOX/PS2/Gamecube) into my car. I'm not sure what kind of universal set-up I should use to allow me to switch out systems when I want.

Updated . . . sort of, finally.

This is a camera phone pic of what it looks like right now. Very beat up (after my accident), and very dirty (Oregon=mud, and I haven't washed it in since summer).

If we had more days like this, I might be motivated to get outside and work on my car more.

NFS: Most Wanted version of what my possible next car could look like. Plus, my next car after that.

Nice ride. Do you compete? Car Audio and Electronics magazine is having an event in Portland on August 5. It's a free competition, there are cash prizes, and pre-registering competitors will receive a Sonic Iboom backpack valued at $100. The top two will be invited to SEMA in November. For more info, visit caraudiomag.com or e-mail featurecar@primedia.com.

I've been working on my metro by myself for a little less than a year, and I think I've gone a long way. Trust me I've got it all planed out for my car. Your doing well on your metro yourself. And I never thought of the metro looking like a little bug about to fly off with its doors open. Pretty funny. Well, I think a spoiler would look cool on your metro. A hood scoop would look kinda wierd. I'll keep an eye on your metro. Stay cool girl.
